As I wrote about previously, seeing my close friends graduate last May hit me like a ton of bricks, and watching many of them struggle through the job search put me into panic mode. I’m an engineering major, I thought, but I don’t want to go into engineering. What do I do? How do I expand my boundaries?

College Think Tank Boston, June 2014

It was a beautiful morning, with clear skies as far as the eye could see and a gentle breeze coming in from the waterfront. I had no idea where the event would be taking place, but trusted in Google Maps (as well as some business-casual college-age-looking people that I spotted waiting for the Silver Line with me!) to point me in the right direction.

4th of July Memories

The Fourth of July has always been a weird holiday for me. I never really enjoyed summertime — the humidity makes me miserable, the heat tires me out, and the sun beating down on my skin feels excruciating. (You would think my Filipino heritage would make me think otherwise, but hey…)
